Very large wooden sculpture of a human being leaning backwards against a tree. This sculpture has a beautiful patina and has some nice artistic details like some dots of thick red paint added by the artist. The artwork dates from the early 1990' s and is signed by the artist. Part of the studio collection of Roland LAVIANNE (1948-2022). This collection was acquired in collaboration with STUER and PSCHANTIQUES. Simplifying the features in the extreme, Roland LAVIANNE develops a powerful play on volumes, shapes and lines, using the light as a key construction material.
