Large sculpture made of Belgian bluestone by Hubert Boeraeve (Ostend Belgium 1950).
This sculpture shows a human figure with hanging shoulders and head. The sculpture is a nice contrast between smooth and rough surfaces, and has a nice balance between fine and robust parts. Hubert Boeraeve makes sculptures in stone and wood, he tries to show us figures in a non figurative way. A lot of his artworks are inspired by humanity. This artwork was made early 1980' s.
