Cast aluminium abstract and brutalist sculpture from german artist Helmut Schlüter.
Height 38,5 cm.
This artist received numerous commissions for monumental sculptures in major German cities.
I present a set of models found in his workshop and made between 1965 and 1985.
Most have a label.
Many pieces are worked with acid to obtain striking patinas. On others the artist has added fragments of marble during the cast that he polished to obtain marble surfaces.
